EP. 16 - Compulsory Heterosexuality (Comphet)

Interview with Samantha, the Late Lesbian Curiosity Coach

Show Notes

This week on Sweet Baby Gay we have on Samantha, the Late Lesbian Curiosity Coach, to talk about Compulsory Heterosexuality and how sexuality and gender norms can affect the queer community. Compulsory Heterosexuality can co-exist with internalized homophobia, guilt and shame, and a disconnect from one's body and pleasure.

This subject is centered around women, the term originating from a woman talking about the lesbian existence, but can be applied to anyone in our community. We talk about the norms we put on our children and how we can undo these norms in ourselves, and how we can stop putting them on future generations.

There is so much to be learned about ourselves through this topic. If you would like to send in your thoughts or questions about this subject you can email us at SweetBabyGayPod@gmail.com
